We snuck through a fence for this

Blendit started with stubbornness and a deep love of avocados.

When good avocados went out of season, our founder Catherine refused to settle for the average frozen products on the market. As soon as they were back in season she headed north to find growers who could supply varieties across a longer season, ones she could freeze herself. On that same trip she spotted a sign for berries, followed an open gate, and ended up standing in a field meeting the people who'd change the whole direction of the business. 

That one trip also introduced her to Karen and Ross, who grow lady finger bananas in Northland, and a handful of other growers who've been part of Blendit ever since. It stopped being just about avocados pretty quickly.

Every pack is made in Stanmore Bay from New Zealand grown ingredients. No fillers, no shortcuts, nothing you can't picture. Frozen at their best, ready when you are.

I've had the Odd smoothie but would not consider myself an expert. My wife and I both tried a different pre-prepared, frozen smoothie. 

WOW, it was amazing! 

We had it at 6pm and were not hungry for anything else!  We found the concept very quick and easy with no ingredient prep at all!  I preferred the slightly sweeter version with banana berries.  We will definitely be return customers!
